Before the clock strikes 12’o'clock and we welcome in 2025 read what I've learned during one of the most pivotal years of my life—living in the grey!
Our idol is time. We believe we have so much time and think we can manipulate it to fit our plans. We continue to walk around mindlessly like we can control it.
I struggled for a while, accepting that my tribe didn't need to be large but needed depth. It doesn't have to be a big group, but it is vital to have a solid group.
You are God’s creation - a creation he called good. For you, he laid his life down. You are the lamb he will leave the ninety-nine and search the ends of the earth for. You, with your imperfections, is who he loves. You are who he chose to save. Stop and pour out your worship to him- let it be a sweet aroma for Jesus. Let it rise and let it be.
If you decide to run faster than God and/or run past him, believing he will match your speed- you will keep repeating the same cycles and learning the same lesson.
God needed me to remember that He is faithful. Because when you remember how good God has been to you, a fire is activated inside you- you start birthing dreams and making the enemy mad.
When we invite God in, he shows up!! He shows up in all his glory and power, ready to be with us. What a sacred and beautiful moment I missed out on because of fear.
Only showing the mountaintop limits the perception of God. We are beautiful beings in the valley because we're empty.
You think there has to be a perfect time and environment for birth. Words you want to say, businesses you want to open, the life you want to live. But something is holding you back. It starts by doing something. Good, bad, indifferent, do something. God will steer you, but he can't steer nothing.
I learned that when I have a tight grip on my future, plans, joys, and happiness, I am not operating as my authentic self. Our lives are the sum total of the good and the bad, the highs and lows- we've lost our ability to be grateful for it ALL
Grateful to God for his promises but thankful for his deliverance. In between the space of where I used to be and where I am today is God's grace. It is his word.
Each step in our past leads us to where we are today. God is so intentional. Everything you have been through has equipped you to stand today.
Don't be afraid to ask God to prune what is not bearing fruit. It is easy to hang on to dead things, situations, outcomes, relationships, goals because we'd rather have our garden look full vs. fruitful.
You can't identify as God’s child and choose not to discover why he placed you on this earth.
Matthew 6:22-23 tells us the eye is the lamp of the body. God is orchestrating a beautiful life before us. The question is: will you fix your eyes on it? Or will you miss what's before you?
