So close...

2 Kings 13:18-19: "And he said, 'Take the arrows,' and he took them. And he said to the king of Israel, 'Strike the ground with them.' And he struck three times and stopped. Then the man of God was angry with him and said, 'You should have struck five or six times; then you would have struck down Syria until you had made an end of it, but now you will strike down Syria only three times.'

I don't know why Joash, king of Israel, stopped striking the ground after Elisha told him to do so so they would have victory over Syria, but the Lord brought me here.

I am supposed to tell you to keep striking the ground.

You're so close to victory, but you've got to keep going until God says stop. You're wondering if your actions are in vain, and I am telling you to keep striking the ground. You're one prayer away from just giving up, doing it your own way, putting God on the back burner because it doesn't seem like He's listening to you anyway, so you want to quit. Keep striking the ground anyway.

Tear-filled eyes, hope on E, and patience wearing thin? Keep striking the ground.

Forgiveness feels heavy, life is taxing, feeling alone, feeling unseen? Strike the ground anyway.

The promise seems far, the armor feels heavy, and prayers feel unanswered? Strike the ground.

I know you feel like you've been laboring in the secret place for a while.

But if you don't give up, you could be one strike away from breaking generational strongholds and chartering a new path for your entire bloodline. You can be the one. Imagine that. It can be you. It will be you. Keep striking the ground.

Pray this prayer: Lord, you're gracious, you're holy, and your strength surpasses mine. I am drawing from your wisdom, peace, and grace to accomplish what you've placed deeply in my heart. Lord, I won't quit before you say so. Let my ears and heart be sensitive to your voice as I rely on you as my Source. Thank you for this new wind to continue this race with gratitude and strength. May your will be done in my life, in Jesus's name, amen.
