God is gracious
There is a song and a scripture that says I look up unto the hills to find where my help comes from. I didn't know the beauty of that until today.
It's been raining here, so the skies are darker, with more clouds. Today, as I completed my walk, I saw some light. Amid the dark cloud, there was an opening for bright skies.
I instantly felt glad. It was an indescribable feelingβhow gracious God is. It was like He was reminding me that I can always find hope when my eyes are on him. I started to remember that I serve a God who has already won the victory. Sometimes, that tiny reminder is enough to give you your fight back.
Even when seasons change, God's character doesn't. He's faithful, omnipresent, omniscient, glorious, and God. And I'm so thankful he is.
The song playing as I walked and looked up at the sky was "Winning" by Sinach, and I was reminded that I'm winning by God's power. Right now, while things aren't perfect, this journey is shaping up to be the chapter I needed, and I couldn't be more glad.
I am winning.
You're winning, too. Even amid the chaos, lift your head as a reminder that your help comes from above.
