Adversary or Foe?

Adversary or Foe?

Did you know that sometimes we can be our own worst enemy? Our choices often cause us setbacks, anxieties, and pain. This is usually because we don't slow down long enough before deciding. We're so hurried to what's next and what's new that we fear being left behind. It's also why some seasons feel precisely the same as the last, or we keep repeating the same lesson repeatedly. We're rushing.

Today, I challenge you to ask yourself if you're a friend or a foe to you. Sit with the answer and ask Jesus to show you how you can be better moving forward. Journal your answers.

Often, Jesus drew back from the crowd for solitude; if Jesus did it, so should we (Luke 6:12). When you starve your distractions, you gain clarity and strength; your mind, body, and spirit will thank you.

Decide today to be an adversary to your soul.
